For applications requiring a wear or abrasion resistant steel in a corrosion moist environment. BHN 207 to 248 work hardens very rapidly similar to REGOL 14 Hadfield manganese. Fine grain-dense microstructure results in extra slick surface for a slideability fringe benefit.

Hub Machine, tip speed - 83' per minute, 200 hours. R.T. 1500 ml AFS 50/70 sand, 1500 ml slag, 1500 ml pea gravel. pH 8.8 to 9.2, duplicates, specimens immersed 2.25" in slurry.
